Tucker Swanson McNear Carlson (born May 16, 1969) is an American conservative political commentator and writer who hosted the nightly political talk show Tucker Carlson Tonight on Fox News from 2016 to 2023. Since his contract with Fox News was terminated, he has hosted Tucker on X. An advocate of former U.S. President Donald Trump, Carlson has been described as "perhaps the highest-profile proponent of Trumpism", and as "the most influential voice in right-wing media, without a close second." Described as a leading voice of white grievance politics, Carlson is known for circulating far-right ideas into mainstream politics and discourse. He has promoted conspiracy theories on topics such as demographic replacement, COVID-19, the January 6 United States Capitol attack, and Ukrainian bioweapons; and has been noted for false and misleading statements about these and other topics. Carlson's remarks on race, immigration, and women – including slurs he said on air between 2006 and 2011 – have been described by some as racist and sexist, and provoked advertiser boycotts of Tucker Carlson Tonight. In April 2023, Fox News dismissed Carlson and canceled his show without any explanation. Tucker Carlson Tonight had at that point been one of the most-watched cable news shows in the country. Carlson was among the hosts named in the Dominion Voting Systems v. Fox News Network defamation lawsuit for broadcasting false statements about the plaintiff company's voting machines that Fox News settled for $787.5 million and required Fox News to acknowledge that the broadcast statements were false.

The confidential letter reads: "Since we've been on the phone – the top post about vaccines today is tucker Carlson saying they don't work. Yesterday was Tomi Lehren [Lahren] saying she won't take one. This is exactly why I want to know what "Reduction" actually looks like – if "reduction "mean "pumping our most vaccine hesitant audience with tucker Carlson saying it doesn't work" then…I'm not sure it's reduction."

How the World Reacted to Telegram Boss Pavel Durov’s Detention
“Pavel Durov left Russia when the government tried to control his social media company, Telegram. But in the end, it wasn’t Putin who arrested him for allowing the public to exercise free speech. It was a western country, a Biden administration ally and enthusiastic NATO member, that locked him away,” said Carlson, who interviewed Durov earlier this year.

Vivek Ramaswamy calls on BuzzFeed to cut staff and hire ‘top talents’ like Tucker Carlson
Vivek Ramaswamy has called on digital media firm BuzzFeed to cut staff, invest in its audio and video capabilities, and hire high-profile “content creators” like Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson In a letter to the media company’s board, the former Republican U.S. presidential contender, who this month revealed he has built an 8.3% stake in BuzzFeed, called for a “complete ground-up restructuring” of the New York City–based media company to prepare it for an artificial-intelligence-dominated future. Ramaswamy said BuzzFeed should seek to boost its credibility by admitting that it has “lost sight of fairness” and “repeatedly lied” to the public on various matters including American politics, the trial of actor Kevin Spacey and the “bloody history” of Che Guevara’s life.

Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene appeared on Fox News just two days after she went on a crazy rant about the network trying to "murder" their former host Tucker Carlson, RadarOnline.com has learned. “You say you’re supporting President [Donald] Trump, but is now the time for this disruption, six months before the election, to fight to get a new speaker in place?” Bartiromo asked. Greene defended her actions by claiming her failed ousting of Mike Johnson “exposed the ‘uniparty’ like it’s never been seen before.”

So you would think that in Congress there were there are many self-professed Christian. Somebody might be piping up on behalf of their brethren in the Holy Land. Fox Contributor Slams Tucker Carlson, Compares Him to 1960s Conspiracy Theorist Who Was ‘Excommunicated’ From the ‘Respectable Right’
Fox News contributor and Washington Post columnist Marc Thiessen took a swipe at ousted Fox opinion host Tucker Carlson on Wednesday after a right-wing activist argued Carlson was once “a successful coordinating mechanism for the Right.” Christopher Rufo commented on the infighting within the right on X and wrote, “When Tucker had his primetime slot on Fox, he served as a successful coordinating mechanism for the Right. He set the agenda with his monologue, shaped the bounds of discourse, and brought in new voices to illustrate specific lines of argument. It will be interesting to see if Tucker, or Fox, can reprise this role, or if it has fragmented online in a more fundamental way.” (MediaIte 4/27/24) READ MORE>>>>>

Alexei Navalny’s Death Makes Tucker Carlson’s Putin Interview Even More Dreadful
Is Tucker Carlson still in Moscow? I wonder if he was lounging in a café with his FSB handlers, laughing at their jokes while savoring a scrumptious pierogi, when the news broke that Alexei Navalny—Russia’s, perhaps the world’s, most famous political prisoner—had died in a Siberian prison at the age of 47. Carlson had spent the week following his dreadful interview with Vladimir Putin on a guided tour of Moscow’s most sparkling sights. In videos posted on his website, he marvels at the Kievskaya subway station (“no graffiti, no filth, no rapists or people waiting to push you onto the tracks … nicer than anything in our country”), goes slack-jawed in a grocery store (where food prices are so low that he finds himself “radicalized” against American leaders), and admires the Russian capital’s “clean, safe streets.” (Slate 2/16/24) READ MORE>>>>>

'Not confident in a woman being President': Trump ally attacks 'anchor baby' Nikki Haley
A Donald Trump ally who has been floated for a position in his potential next administration on Wednesday attacked the ex-president's GOP primary rival Nikki Haley, saying the former Trump admin official is an "anchor baby" who is ineligible to be president. She joins Tucker Carlson and others in shooting down reports that Trump is considering her for Vice President. Loomer argued on Christmas eve that Haley was an "anchor baby who is unqualified to be president." (David McAfee/Raw Story 12/27/23)

Not Even Tucker Carlson’s Fox News Firing Could Save Newsmax
Just a few months ago, Newsmax was riding high. The MAGA network watched its ratings soar after disgruntled Fox News viewers ditched the conservative cable giant after it shockingly fired Tucker Carlson. Exploiting the MAGA rage against Fox over kicking its top right-wing star to the curb, Newsmax leaned even harder into its already over-the-top pro-Trump ethos, bluntly signaling to viewers that this was the channel to turn to for all their conservative comfort content needs. They even went so far as to not-so-subtly suggest that Carlson could potentially join their airwaves.

Tucker Carlson once texted he hated Trump "passionately." Now he's endorsing him for president.
Former President Donald Trump has earned an endorsement from Tucker Carlson, the conservative media figure who once said in a text that he hated the former president. "I became an active Trump supporter when they raided Mar-a-Lago last summer. That just can't stand," Carlson said in an interview Thursday with Roseanne Barr on her podcast — the actress being no stranger to controversy herself. "I'm voting for Trump, and if they convict him, I will send him the max donations and I will lead protests. That's how I feel." (C Mandler/CBS News 11.30.23) READ MORE>>>>> |
