Sean Patrick Hannity (born December 30, 1961) is an American conservative television presenter, broadcaster and writer. He hosts The Sean Hannity Show, a nationally syndicated talk radio show, and has also hosted a self-titled political commentary program on Fox News since 2009. Hannity worked as a general contractor and volunteered as a talk show host at UC Santa Barbara in 1989. He later joined WVNN in Athens, Alabama, and shortly afterward, WGST in Atlanta. After leaving WGST, he worked at WABC in New York until 2013. Since 2014, Hannity has worked at WOR. In 1996, Hannity and Alan Colmes co-hosted Hannity & Colmes on Fox. After Colmes announced his departure in January 2008, Hannity merged the Hannity & Colmes show into Hannity. Hannity has said he is not a journalist, and he has been characterized as a propagandist. He has promoted conspiracy theories, such as "birtherism" (claims that then-President Barack Obama was not a legitimate U.S. citizen), claims regarding the murder of Seth Rich, falsehoods about Hillary Clinton's health, and false claims of election fraud in the 2020 presidential election. Hannity was an early supporter of Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election and often acted as an unofficial spokesman for him. When Trump was president, White House advisors characterized Hannity as the "shadow" chief of staff, and he reportedly phoned the White House and spoke to Trump most weeknights. According to Forbes, by 2018 Hannity had become one of the most-watched hosts in cable news and most-listened-to hosts in talk radio, due in part to his closeness and access to Trump. He privately urged Trump administration officials before and during the January 6 United States Capitol attack to cease some of their efforts to retain the presidency and to urge Trump's supporters to leave the Capitol. Hannity was among the hosts named in the Dominion Voting Systems v. Fox News Network defamation lawsuit for broadcasting false statements about the plaintiff company's voting machines that Fox News settled for $787.5 million and required Fox News to acknowledge that the broadcast statements were false. Hannity has an honorary degree from Liberty University. He won awards from the National Association of Broadcasters in 2003 and 2007. He has written three New York Times best-selling books: Let Freedom Ring: Winning the War of Liberty over Liberalism; Deliver Us from Evil: Defeating Terrorism, Despotism, and Liberalism; and Conservative Victory: Defeating Obama's Radical Agenda, and released a fourth, Live Free or Die, in 2020.
Trump Not Sure Whether Debate on ABC Will Be Fair
Sean Hannity interviewed Donald Trump at a town hall event hosted by Fox News in Pennsylvania Wednesday night, and one of the most headline-grabbing things the former president said had to do with next week's debate, which will also be held in Philadelphia and hosted by ABC News. Referring to Kamala Harris' friendship with a Disney executive whose portfolio includes the news organization, Trump suggested Harris is "going to get the questions in advance." Hours before his sit-down with Hannity, campaigns for both presidential candidates had agreed to rules for the debate, which include the stipulation that neither candidate would receive any of the questions or topics in advance, the New York Times reports. HALFWIT HANNITY Helps Kamala Harris to Expose the 'Trump Taxes' that Will 'Devastate Americans' Donald Trump and his MAGA Republican Party has been struggling desperately to find an effective response to the newly invigorated Democratic campaign for president, led by Vice-President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz. Much of their efforts are still stuck in attacking President Biden and/or trying to shift those attacks unedited to Harris. That's a strategy that so far has only succeeded in giving Jon Stewart more material to mock Trump with. And apparently, being the butt of jokes hasn't deterred the Trumpists from flailing wildly in hopes of landing a blow on the far more intelligent and nimble Harris campaign. To the contrary, they just continue to double down on their dopey diatribes that inevitably hurt themselves more than their opponents. (Daily Kos 8/17/24) READ MORE>>>>> |

‘Is This Still America?’ Hannity Rages At Trump Gag Order That Came After Direct Attack on Judge and His Daughter
Fox News opinion host Sean Hannity fumed at the gag order imposed on Donald Trump in New York City on Tuesday, declaring it both “un-American” and a violation of Trump’s free speech. Judge Juan Merchan imposed the gag order hours after Trump attacked the judge and even went so far as to attack his daughter in a screed on Truth Social. Trump is on trial in New York City over his hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels and allegations he falsified business records to cover them up.

Despite surging jobs numbers, Sean Hannity claims America lost three million jobs in January
SEAN HANNITY (HOST): Everyone getting all orgasmic over the deal that, you know, x number of jobs are created. Here's the problem with this. 60% of American parents are using their retirement savings to pay their adult children's bills. We still have 62% of Americans living paycheck to paycheck. The high cost of food and the higher cost of pretty much everything we buy has not changed in spite of "the stock market and Bureau of Labor Statistics spin" that they put out. Zero Hedge did a really good analysis of this, and I thought it was a great analysis of the great jobs numbers that everyone was praising on Friday, it's almost entirely due to the Bureau of Labor Statistics' latest choice of seasonal adjustments, which have gone from merely laughable to a full on clown show. MSNBC host Rachel Maddow has defended the news outlet for not airing Donald Trump’s speech following his victory in the Iowa caucuses.
Ms Maddow said that MSNBC could not air “lies” to its viewers while adding the network and other news outlets only care about reporting the truth. “The reason I’m saying this is, of course, there is a reason that we and other news organizations have generally stopped giving an unfiltered, live platform to remarks by former President Trump,” she said. CNN host Jake Tapper was also heard interrupting Trump’s speech as the former president spoke about the border crisis. “A relatively subdued speech as the things go so far. Although, here he is, right now, under my voice. You can hear him repeating his anti-immigrant rhetoric,” Mr Tapper said. |

Z NEWS NOTE: Of course the American Right Wing always believes in the First Amendment except when they don't. I don't have to agree with everything Rachel Maddow says but I endorse her right to say it. Personally I dont believe Trump should be given any air time to air his self imposed grievances and that is all his rallies have become: grievance, hatred, and anger. And, of course, his letting you know he is doing that for YOU. #doh
Fox News, Sean Hannity responded to Maddow in an article titled Does Rachel Maddow not have any self-awareness at all? : He wrote: "As you just heard during his victory speech, Donald Trump struck what was a unifying tone. Uh, but apparently, according to part-time make-believe journalists and full-time left-wing, hate Trump conspiracy theorists like radical Rachel Maddow" Funny how they project "conspiracy theorist" back at her when most of the time Hannity spends his whole show (Now coming from Florida) creating conspiracies to push on his mostly uneducated viewers. The he writes: "No one in the media mob has peddled more lies, more conspiracy theories than Rachel Maddow." That, of course, is funny because between Hannity, Watters and Ingraham they have the corner on pushing faux conspiracies. But they have competition from Newsmax and dozens of right wing bloggers who , for need of traffic to fund their click bait, know that the ones who will swallow the lies the most are Maga (uneducated, of course).

Hannity Moved To Florida And New York Will Never Get Him Back! So Stop Begging, New York!
Bad news for all the denizens of New York who cherish and adore Sean Hannity, so we guess this post is addressed to one old shithole racist on Staten Island named Carl: Hannity has moved to Florida. Yes, just like fired Fox News host Tucker Carlson before him. (Tucker lives in Florida when he doesn’t have important duties to attend to with his Twitter show, which is filmed in the heart-shaped tub in his lesbian Unabomber she-shed in Maine.) Hannity made a very big deal of it on both his radio show yesterday and on his TV show last night. You could tell it was breaking news even if the TV was on mute, because the chyron said “BREAKING NEWS” and that “BLUE STATE EXODUS CONTINUES.” We guess Sean Hannity is the Moses of this situation, except he’s leading five half-dead white racists on Rascal scooters to the Golden Corral in Tallahassee.
