Former Trump staffer and current Fox Business host Monica Crowley was called out after making the racist and sexist assertion that Democrats are trying to sell Vice President Kamala Harris' presidential campaign as former President Barack Obama except "in a skirt." Complaining about the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee’s remarkable rise in support since President Joe Biden's exit from the race, Crowley questioned how Harris transitioned so rapidly from "historically the most unpopular vice president in recent American history" to the "belle of the ball" for the nation's liberal wing. Crowley, a conservative commentator, columnist, and radio host, was Trump's choice for senior director of strategic communications for the National Security Council. "Just so we're clear: The FBI - Biden, Garland & Wray - authorized the use of deadly force for their raid on Mar-a-Lago over some papers," she wrote Wednesday. "Not to apprehend a terrorist or a drug kingpin. To see about some papers, many of which likely incriminate them in treasonous crimes." Steve Bannon touts Monica Crowley to be national security advisor in a second Trump term STEVE BANNON (HOST): Monica Crowley, General Austin. You're an expert in this. You were comms over at Treasury, but your background is as much in national security policy, and, in fact, you're the shortlist, I'm sure, for national security adviser in the second Trump – in the second Trump term. General Austin, have you ever in your twenty or thirty years of doing this, have you ever seen anything like this? MONICA CROWLEY (GUEST): Well, that's very sweet of you to say, Steve. Thank you. Look, I've never seen anything like this. I have been blessed to have now worked for two American presidents, Richard Nixon in his last years, and by the way, today is Richard Nixon's 111th birthday, so maybe we can talk about that, and also President Trump. And having met every living president and been around this game for a long time, this kind of thing is absolutely unprecedented. You know, any normal politician, when they're seeing the negative fallout, you know, the negative economic, humanitarian, and national security implications of this wide open border for nearly three years now, any normal president would have corrected the course, changed the policy. We have not seen one second of that. He has not changed the policy at all. So, this is the plan. The plan is to flood the country. (Media Matters Staff/Media Matters 9/22/23) READ MORE>>>>> |

August 5, 2024: Crowley said on Fox Business: "Absolutely! Well, we're watching, as you just said, we're watching Kamala Harris get the Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama treatment from the liberal mainstream media and the Democrat Party."
August 6, 2024: From Crowley' podcast: Tim Walz is “a fully committed Marxist” who views “chaos, death, and destruction as necessary tools to advance the revolution”; Walz’s ideology is “what Nazi Germany did with the Jews.” At one point, she said: “Marxists view the chaos, death, and destruction as necessary tools to advance the revolution. That's who Tim Walz is.” She later compared Walz’s ideology to “what Nazi Germany did with the Jews and others, dehumanized them, turn them into pigs, and in Walz's word, cows. You dehumanize people.” |
Monica Crowley’s Constitution Day lecture takes unexpected political turn
Monica Crowley, news analyst and former assistant secretary for public affairs at the U.S. Treasury Department, was this year’s keynote speaker to discuss the Constitution’s enduring influence. However, her focus on “American Exceptionalism” and critical remarks about “Marxists and globalists within the current administration” quickly altered the tone of the event. The audience’s unease became evident as Crowley brought attention to the roles of Donald Trump and Ronald Reagan. Whispers and chuckles could be heard, and a noticeable number of attendees exited the auditorium during her opening speech. Crowley revealed to the UP during a lunch event before her speech that she worked with former President Richard Nixon for the last four years of his life and considered him a mentor. She also mentioned having former President Donald Trump as a guest on her podcast, “The Monica Crowley Podcast.” (Sofia De La Espriella,/University Press 9/22/23)
