Tim Walz and J.D. Vance Agree to CBS News Debate (Updated)
Tim Walz and J.D. Vance have scheduled their first debate. On Wednesday, CBS News took the initiative to remind the respective running mates of presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump about its proposed match-up, originally announced back in May. “Today, CBS News invited both vice-presidential candidates to participate in a debate in New York City,” the network said in a statement provided to TVNewser and posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“We provided the campaigns with four dates as options: Sept. 17, Sept. 24, Oct. 1 and Oct. 8,” the statement continued. “We look forward to their responses and providing voters with an opportunity to hear directly from the vice-presidential candidates.” (TV Newser 8/15/24)READ MORE>>>>>
