Christopher Wallace (born October 12, 1947) is an American broadcast journalist. He is known for his tough and wide-ranging interviews, for which he is often compared to his father, 60 Minutes journalist Mike Wallace. Over his 50-year career in journalism he has been a correspondent, moderator, or anchor on CBS, ABC, NBC, Fox News, and now CNN. In 2018 he was ranked one of America's most trusted TV news anchors. Wallace has won three Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award, a George Polk Award, the duPont-Columbia University Silver Baton Award, and a Paul White lifetime achievement award. Wallace is the only person to have served as host and moderator of more than one of the major U.S. political Sunday morning talk shows, which he did during his time at NBC. From 2003 to 2021, Wallace hosted Fox News Sunday, on which his interviews with politicians such as Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and Vladimir Putin received acclaim.

Several MSNBC hosts reported on Thursday evening that members of President Joe Biden’s circle and the Democratic Party were “panicked” at his performance during the CNN debate against former President Donald Trump and were discussing what to do next. Brian Douglas Williams (born May 5, 1959) is an American retired journalist and television news anchor. He was a correspondent for NBC Nightly News starting in 1993, before his promotion to anchor and managing editor of the broadcast in 2004. In February 2015, Williams was suspended by NBC News for six months for "misrepresent[ing] events which occurred while he was covering the Iraq War in 2003". Four months after the incident came to light, the network removed him from NBC Nightly News permanently and reassigned him as the breaking news anchor for MSNBC. In September 2016, Williams became the host of MSNBC's political news show, The 11th Hour. Williams announced in November 2021 that he would be leaving MSNBC and NBC News at the completion of his contract the following month, when he hosted his final episode of The 11th Hour.

Journalist Bob Woodward, best known for his coverage of the 1960s Watergate scandal, criticized his former employer, the Washington Post, for not endorsing either candidate in the 2024 presidential race. The announcement of this non-endorsement came less than two weeks before Election Day. The Washington Post had issued its backing to candidates since the 1980s. This week, owner Jeff Bezos announced that tradition is over, joining the Los Angeles Times and USA Today in opting not to support Vice President Kamala Harris or former President Donald Trump. “I really disagree,” Woodward said on Tuesday’s episode of ABC’s The View. “The Post thought, it has a news side and an editorial side. It’s one institution. During Watergate — can I go back 50-plus years to talk about?
