CNN’s Chris Wallace Roasts NBC Execs’ ‘Pretty Dumb’ Decision to Hire Ronna McDaniel
After fierce backlash, NBC parted ways with the former chair of the Republican National Committee after she lasted just half a scaramucci in the role. Wallace appeared on CNN’s Laura Coates Live on Wednesday to offer his thoughts, but not before Laura Coates played a clip of him grilling McDaniel in July about the 2020 election. McDaniel told Wallace the contest had “lots of problems” as she echoed former President Donald Trump’s false claims of election fraud.(Media-Ite 3/27/24) READ MORE>>>>>

BREAKING: MSNBC Hosts Report ‘Panicked’ Biden Inner Circle Discussing Dropping Out
Several MSNBC hosts reported on Thursday evening that members of President Joe Biden’s circle and the Democratic Party were “panicked” at his performance during the CNN debate against former President Donald Trump and were discussing what to do next. Following the debate, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow noted, “It was hard to hear what he was saying because his voice was so weak and his halting delivery in his first couple of answers has got to have put a shock into the campaign.” MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace then revealed, “I was on the phones for some of it after that became clear and there is a conversation happening inside Biden’s circle, and certainly a much more frank conversation happening inside the Democratic coalition, and I think there will be stories of a lot of concern about the performance tonight.”

Joe Walsh: Hunter Biden pardon ‘utter bulls‑‑‑,’ ‘stupidly selfish’ Former Republican Rep. Joe Walsh (Ill.) ripped President Biden’s decision to pardon his son, Hunter, calling it “utter bulls‑‑‑” and “stupidly selfish.” “This is utter bulls‑‑‑, just plain wrong, & stupidly selfish,” Walsh posted on X on Sunday evening. “Shame on you @POTUS, you’ve given Trump license now to dole out favors to his family & wealthy friends. And when he does, you’ve given his supporters the opportunity to say ‘everyone does it.’” “And btw Biden, you lied,” Walsh added, referencing Biden’s previous claims that he was not going to issue the pardon. December 1, 2024: Walsh: “’Nobody’s above the law,’ we’ve been screaming. Well, Joe Biden just made clear his son Hunter is above the law. Donald Trump lies every time he opens his mouth,’ we’ve been screaming. Joe Biden repeatedly lied about this. ‘The politicization of the justice system,’ Donald Trump and his people have been screaming. That’s exactly what Biden said here.” |

Another Pride, another boycott: Right-wing media attempt to cancel children’s educator Ms Rachel
Bud Light. Hershey’s. Target. Nike. Jack Daniel’s. The Los Angeles Dodgers. Adidas. Walmart. The North Face. While Pride 2023 featured a seemingly endless wave of boycott efforts from right-wing media personalities angry at corporations marketing their wares to LGBTQ customers, this year’s cancelation attempts have so far been more restrained, with a number of familiar right-wing media faces focusing on Ms Rachel after the popular children’s The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh shared the video to X (formerly Twitter), calling it “a message to conservatives parents.”
“She doesn’t want your business,” the What is a Woman filmmaker wrote. “You should respond accordingly.”
Walsh also covered the video at length on his June 3 show. (Media Matters 6/5/24) READ MORE>>>>>

Bob Woodward blasts Washington Post for ending presidential endorsements
Journalist Bob Woodward, best known for his coverage of the 1960s Watergate scandal, criticized his former employer, the Washington Post, for not endorsing either candidate in the 2024 presidential race. The announcement of this non-endorsement came less than two weeks before Election Day. The Washington Post had issued its backing to candidates since the 1980s. This week, owner Jeff Bezos announced that tradition is over, joining the Los Angeles Times and USA Today in opting not to support Vice President Kamala Harris or former President Donald Trump. “I really disagree,” Woodward said on Tuesday’s episode of ABC’s The View. “The Post thought, it has a news side and an editorial side. It’s one institution. During Watergate — can I go back 50-plus years to talk about? When Carl Bernstein and I wrote stories that were denied, the Washington Post editorial department stood squarely behind us all of the way.”
