👉David Grohl’s favourite band to perform with isn’t one of his own. In an archival interview with Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson – recorded in 2005 for his radio show Masters Of Rock – he revealed that he looks back most fondly on his time with Queens Of The Stone Age. “The Queens Of The Stone Age gig, when it was Nick [Oliveri, bass], Josh [Homme, vocals/guitar] and I, we were badass man,” Grohl said (per Far Out). “That’s the best band I’ve ever been in in my life."
