May 9, 1914: Clarence Eugene "Hank" Snow is born in Brooklyn, Nova Scotia, Canada.
September 2, 1935: Snow married Minnie Blanche Aalders, a young Halifax woman, born in Kentville, Nova Scotia, who worked in a local chocolate factory.
March 1933: Snow wrote to Halifax radio station CHNS asking for an audition.

Oct 29, 1936: Snow's audition with the Canadian division of RCA Victor in Montreal, Quebec, lead to a recoding contract.
February 7, 1953: Billboard Magazine reported that Snow's then-17-year-old son, Jimmie Rodgers Snow, had signed with RCA Victor and that the younger Snow would "record duets with his father", as well as cover his own material.

April 1974: One of his last top hits, "Hello Love", was sung by Garrison Keillor to open each broadcast of his Prairie Home Companion radio show. The song became Snow's seventh and final number 1 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart.
December 20, 1999: Hank Snow died in Madison, Tennessee.
May 12, 2003: Snows wife Minnie died in Madison, Tennessee.
