Elton John in His Own Words:
"I am the most well-known homosexual in the world."
“I think Jesus was a compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems. On the cross, he forgave the people who crucified him. Jesus wanted us to be loving and forgiving. I don't know what makes people so cruel. Try being a gay woman in the Middle East -- you're as good as dead.” |
"I think people should be free to engage in any sexual practices they choose; they should draw the line at goats though."
“Religion promotes the hatred and spite against gays. From my point of view, I would ban religion completely. Organised religion doesn't seem to work. It turns people into really hateful lemmings and it's not really compassionate.” |
01.16.13 Surrogate Births a son for Elton John and Friend
Last week, reports fizzled after claims that the singer and his partner added another whippersnapper to their family, but now, that scoop is actually REAL!!!The couple's son was born in El Lay at 6:40 p.m. via surrogate, which was only a day after they denied that they were having another BABEz. Excited about their new 8 pound miracle, John and Furnish said: "Both of us have longed to have children, but the reality that we now have two sons is almost unbelievable. The birth of our second son completes our family in a most precious and perfect way. It is difficult to fully express how we are feeling at this time, we are just overwhelmed with happiness and excitement." Elton and David named their newborn boy Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John, which makes A LOT of sense 'cuz their 2-year-old son also got dubbed a long name, Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John.
