‘I’m the ‘Ratings Machine!”: Donald Trump fires back at critics, denies calling Fox News after Harris’s Convention speech
The New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd stated in an opinion piece that the former president called Fox News and “followed up the posts with a scream-of-consciousness call, filibustering Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum for ten minutes until Baier abruptly cut him off to throw to the Greg Gutfeld comedy show,” reported The Hill. In a response to Dowd’s opinion piece, Trump, in a post on Truth Social wrote “I didn’t call other media outlets that asked me to go on, they called me. CNN’s Jim Acosta Suggests Trump Is ‘Politicizing’ Thirteen Service Members By Visiting Arlington National Cemetery
CNN anchor Jim Acosta suggested that Republican nominee Donald Trump is “politicizing” the deaths of the 13 service members killed in Kabul, Afghanistan, by visiting Arlington National Cemetery on Monday. Trump attended a ceremony to commemorate the three-year anniversary of the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, where a suicide explosion killed 13 U.S. service members outside the Hamid Karzai International Airport. Acosta questioned whether Trump’s arrival at the cemetery was simply a political statement — without mentioning President Joe Biden’s vacation during the anniversary.
“[I]s he politicizing these soldiers’ deaths? Should he even be at Arlington National Cemetery if he’s gonna make some politics out of this?” Acosta asked Democratic Colorado Rep. Jason Crow.

How the World Reacted to Telegram Boss Pavel Durov’s Detention
French-Russian tech billionaire Pavel Durov is to appear in court on Sunday after being arrested at a Paris airport for offenses related to his popular Telegram messaging app, sources told AFP. France had reportedly issued an arrest warrant for Durov in a preliminary investigation into alleged offenses including fraud, drug trafficking, cyberbullying, organized crime and promotion of terrorism. “Pavel Durov left Russia when the government tried to control his social media company, Telegram. But in the end, it wasn’t Putin who arrested him for allowing the public to exercise free speech. It was a western country, a Biden administration ally and enthusiastic NATO member, that locked him away,” said Carlson, who interviewed Durov earlier this year. (Moscow Times 8/25/24)READ MORE>>>>>

Curious Facts About Alina Habba’s Marriage to Gregg Reuben
Alina Habba’s husband, Gregg Reuben, remains less known compared to his wife, who frequently defends her client, Donald Trump, both on-air and online. Despite the low profile, there’s some peculiar information about their marriage that has piqued curiosity. Habba’s marriage to Reuben is her second. She was previously married to Matthew Eyet from September 2011 to December 2019. While having multiple marriages isn’t unusual, finding and marrying someone new in less than two years might be considered uncommon. In February 2021, Reuben shared photos on Medium of their wedding. While their relationship has mostly remained private, Habba shared a picture of a large bouquet of flowers on Instagram in November 2022, captioned, “Marry someone who buys you flowers to celebrate your first date.” The timing of these events raises some questions. If Habba waited until after her divorce was finalized, the next November would have been in 2020. She likely married Reuben in late 2020 or early 2021, which seems rather soon. It’s possible she and Eyet were separated well before their divorce became official, meaning the November flowers could have marked her first date with Reuben in 2019. Nonetheless, it does appear there might have been some overlap.

HALFWIT HANNITY Helps Kamala Harris to Expose the 'Trump Taxes' that Will 'Devastate Americans'
Donald Trump and his MAGA Republican Party has been struggling desperately to find an effective response to the newly invigorated Democratic campaign for president, led by Vice-President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz. Much of their efforts are still stuck in attacking President Biden and/or trying to shift those attacks unedited to Harris. That's a strategy that so far has only succeeded in giving Jon Stewart more material to mock Trump with. And apparently, being the butt of jokes hasn't deterred the Trumpists from flailing wildly in hopes of landing a blow on the far more intelligent and nimble Harris campaign. To the contrary, they just continue to double down on their dopey diatribes that inevitably hurt themselves more than their opponents. (Daily Kos 8/17/24) READ MORE>>>>>

Laura Loomer: “Kamala Harris is not Black.” ... “I have a weave in my hair so maybe I am Blacker than Kamala Harris.”
LAURA LOOMER (HOST): Kamala Harris is not Black. They want to convince themselves that she is. We have a pretend Black woman who is now the Democrat nominee, and they're saying that we have to divest ourselves from whiteness. I mean, why are we trying to gin up animosity? I get along just fine with Black people. Okay? The woman who does my hair is Black, and she's a conservative. She's a Trump supporter. And when she does my hair, she always talks to me. Right? Because I'm conservative, and she loves — people just assume that she's, you know, she's a Jamaican girl. She's really sweet. She's really nice. She does a really good job on my hair. And, she'll be like, oh, so, you know, what can you tell me now? What's new with President Trump? Oh, I just love President Trump or, you know, she watches a lot of InfoWars and Alex Jones, and she always waits and does my hair when, you know, it's just us because generally speaking, like, a lot of her clientele is more Democrat or, you know, doing hair — I get my hair done at a Black salon, actually. I will say this because I have extensions, and I'm not going pretend like my hair is all real. I have extensions in my hair, just to be honest. And so, I don't need to pretend and be like, oh, yeah. I was like, you know, I woke up like this is all my natural hair. Most of my hair is my hair, but I do wear a couple extensions, and I do it for fullness. My hair is the exact length that it is. My natural hair is as long as it is, but I do have one row of extensions. I guarantee you that when I go and I get my hair done in a couple weeks when she redoes my extensions for me, I'm going to play her this clip, and I'm going to ask her what she thinks about this Black woman telling people to divest themselves from whiteness. Black people think that this shit's crazy too. Like, I don't know why they think that this is appealing to all Black people. I know Black people who think it's so stupid when they hear other Black people calling for reparations. Okay? So when I go to the Black hair salon and I get my weft, my weave, basically, tightened in my hair because you have to get it tightened every six weeks, I'm going ask these Black women in the salon what they think about this woman calling for white people to divest themselves from whiteness. And maybe I'll record it. I don't know. Maybe I'll record it and get their reactions, and then I'll play it six weeks from now when I get my weave tightened. And then I can, you know, show you all what they think at the Black Hair Salon. LOOMER: I guess I do. I have a weave in my hair, so maybe I am Blacker than Kamala Harris. I don't know.
